The Process

The reason Big Mama’s food tasted so good, is because she started preparing the meal way before it was time to eat.

She began with the end in mind. As breakfast was cooking, dinner was being planned…..the process.

Of course you can rush the meal, the relationship, and even the business if you choose. Truth is, there will always be a faster way to get it done.

The way life is set up, who doesn’t love a good shortcut?

What I know for sure is, the quality of a “thing” is in the process.

I’m reminded of the how oil is made from an olive, how wine is made from grapes, and how diamonds come from carbon…..the process.

Almost two years ago, we began the process. The idea of “starting”was the easy part. We had a vision, knew what we wanted, and even knew how we wanted it to look. Ooh wee this is so exciting!!!! LETS GOOOOOO!!!

We ordered samples, picked out names, created a website, and and so on….and so on…. And so on. At this rate, we should be ready to launch in no time right?

Awhh yea, we in this thang!

The time that appeared to be only 30 days away, became more than 6 months! Why you ask? Because of…..THE PROCESS!!!

As we celebrate our first year in business, we understand the importance of time.

We are learning; the fastest way isn’t always the best way. We see the importance of not taking shortcuts. Just like Big Mama, we are taking our time preparing what’s next before we serve it to you.

Yes, we understand the assignment!

With this being said, please know our timing will not always line up with yours or what you think we should be doing.

We will continue to stand by our mission: to provide quality products and lead by inspiration while encouraging you to never give up on your dreams.
